Thurmont
sewers get tanked
Town
commissioners decide to fund $4.6 million equalization tank
to avoid sewer overflows and back-up problems
THURMONT,
Md. – Think of it as a way for the Town of Thurmont to
tell Mother Nature to slow down.
The town’s wastewater treatment plant can handle about

On June 19, Hudson told the commissioners that he would be bringing

and 112 townhouses along with about 400,000 square feet of retail/commercial/office
space.
Hudson said he was returning to the original idea
